If you send me a message, I will contact you by phone (usually WhatsApp) within a few days - this is best as I am often teaching. Please let me know your number and a convenient time to call when you message me.

 

We will then discuss your 11 plus tuition needs over the phone. If you decide you would like to proceed with a first assessment lesson, we will try and fix a date and time to be confirmed in writing with a simple registration form for you to complete and return.

 

All your child will need for the first online lesson is a desktop or laptop computer with webcam; a reasonable internet connection; a Skype account (this can be yours) and a quiet place for the student to focus without distractions. A headset with microphone and earphones are helpful but not necessary.

 

During the first tutorial I shall focus on developing a positive learning rapport with your child while assessing where your child is in relation to the tests and devising a suitable plan for moving forward. This first lesson will be preceded by a brief meeting with parent(s) present where you can meet me and ask any questions you may have. Another 10 minutes is added at the end to feed back and discuss how to move your child's learning forward. Tuition fees depend upon the exams and number of lessons booked. For a professional teacher of my experience, these are very competitive and there is no agency commission (usually +£10-20) to add if you contact me directly. Please message me for a brief chat as to your needs and for a quote. Usually tuition is 1 to 1, although I also teach siblings and small groups.
